Last year, when I was shooting very few weddings due to many covid-postponements, I really treasured the intimate gatherings I was able to photograph. And that’s what has stood out to me this year at weddings. I’ve noticed that I feel pure joy when I see these moments that weren’t possible for so long. Moments like family members (who haven’t seen each other in over a year) sharing a hug… friends catching up with huge grins on their faces… people gathered in celebration. This is the good stuff.
I’m so glad that Stephanie & Brian could have their big celebration. There were so many sweet moments at this wedding. Stephanie’s grandma was honestly the best flower girl ever. The silly photos with their bridesmaids & groomsmen make me smile – which is why I’m sharing those here instead of the more traditional ones (which of course I got as well). But honestly my favorite thing about this day was the glow. It sounds corn – I know – but look at Stephanie & Brian in these photos. They are just so dang happy. I love that.
Stephanie & Brian – cheers to many more years of a love that makes you glow!
